The Delta Police Command has paraded suspects who allegedly specialise in luring girls from Abia state to Delta state for prostitution.
In a video by the Command’s Spokesperson, Bright Edafe, on Thursday, 18th of July, 2024, he said that the suspects lure the girls by telling them that they are coming to Delta State to work as a salesgirl in a restaurant.
However, their operation was busted after the suspects brought in three girls from Abia who reported to the police after they were driven out for refusing to engage in prostitution.
Sharing the video, Edafe wrote:
“A suspect Chinyere specializes in luring girls from the East by deceiving them that she is bring them to Delta for sales girl job in a restaurant.
“When they get to Ughelli, she ask them to strip and get ready for prostitution. She got exposed when she brought in three girls from State including a 16yr old girl.
“When they got to Ughelli, they refuse to do prostitution, hence she chased them out. they came and reported to the Police. pls listen to their stories.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
