Delta Community Protests Against Monarch’s Allocation Of Land To Nigerian Army

The Traditional Council of Oghara, in Ethiope West Local Government, Delta State has bashed against handing over by the monarch, Olu of Warri that took place not quiet long.

According to report the Ogiame Atuwatse lll, has an expanse of land they allege owns by the Oghara, the Nigerian Army.

Kicking against the recent development, stirred in protest exercise against allocation of the council led by the Ovie of Oghara Kingdom.

The Noble Eshemitan Orefe lll, said the handing over could trigger an unnecessary civil unrest in the area of the land at Otegbo, which the Itsekiri call Obitugbo village, in the state.

In the statement said “unnecessary inter communal civil could trigger unrest in the area.” he said
