Decomposing Bodies Of Pastor, Wife Found In Taraba

The decomposed bodies of an African Church pastor and his wife were discovered in the jungle near Maraba Baisa in Donga Local Government Area, Taraba State, on Saturday.

This is coming four days after a bus assault that claimed the lives of seven people. Their 13-month-old infant remains missing.

Pastor Kumator Jacob Aba was reported missing on Wednesday after leaving his church in Bali, Taraba State’s Bali Local Government Area, to ride a motorcycle with his spouse and their 13-month-old child to the church’s congress in Donga.

The pastor’s absence from the congress and the recent deaths on the Maraba Baisa Bali Road caused anxiety among the church’s members.

In an interview, Chief David Gbaa, the Head of the Tiv traditional rulers in Taraba State and the Ter Bali, said that the couple’s remains were discovered in the jungle close to Maraba Baisa when security and young people were searching for them.
