Declare Your Assets Or You Won’t Be Sworn In – Kano Governor To Commissioner Nominees

In a move to ensure transparency and accountability in his administration, the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has issued a directive requiring all 19 Commissioner nominees to adhere to the code of conduct rules.

The governor emphasized the importance of upholding ethical standards and declared that the nominees must declare their assets within the stipulated timeframe prior to their screening at the state assembly.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf made it clear that no commissioner nominee would be sworn in as a cabinet member unless they have completed the asset declaration form from the Code of Conduct Bureau. Furthermore, he stressed that all other political appointees within his administration must also comply with this directive.

Reiterating his commitment to the people of Kano State, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf affirmed that transparency and accountability would remain fundamental principles of his administration.

He assured the citizens that these principles would be upheld to promote good governance, as promised during his electioneering campaign.
