The current struggle for domination between Nigerian Afrobeats megastars Wizkid and Davido has drawn the attention of Dino Melaye, the former Peoples Democratic Party candidate for governor of Kogi State.
Davido, according to Melaye, is “unquestionably” the most successful artist internationally in terms of sales and the head of the Nigerian music industry.
On his X handle on Wednesday, he wrote: “Davido is undoubtedly the 001 in the Nigerian music industry and undoubtedly the most patronised globally.”
According to rumors, Davido and Wizkid recently got into a heated online feud on X.
