Adeola, daughter of veteran actress Jumoke George, who had been missing for four years, has been found and returned home from Mali, where she was reportedly trafficked to.
The news was confirmed by Abike Dabiri, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), who tweeted that Adeola was just received alongside Biola Adebayo and Niyi Johnson, who helped break the story.
Jumoke George had earlier cried out that she had not heard from her daughter for years, raising concerns about her whereabouts.
The circumstances surrounding Adeola’s disappearance remain unclear.
Reports indicate that she left Nigeria in search of better opportunities but had not been heard from since.
