A group of protesters under the aegis of Concerned Ogun State Citizens stormed former Governor of the state, Ibikunle Amosun’s residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Saturday, pleading with him to join forces with other opposition parties to unseat the current Governor Dapo Abiodun.
It was gathered that the protesters urged the former Governor, Amosun to support the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Oladipupo Adebutu, in the forthcoming election next Saturday.
The protesters were seen with placards that cover different inscriptions conveying their grievances, some of which read, “Dapo Abiodun must go”, “Senator Ibikunle Amosun you area a leading leader, with you buy our side, we can all make this happen”, “Senator Ibikunle Amosun, please join PDP allied forces now”, among others.
