Daniel Bwala Compares Tinubu’s Leadership to Abraham Lincoln of United States

Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, has likened the President’s leadership attributes to those of former United States leader Abraham Lincoln.

In a post on his X handle on Monday, Bwala outlined eight qualities he said distinguish Tinubu from other political figures.

According to Bwala, these include courage, discipline, strong will, open-mindedness, forgiveness, faith in people, selflessness, and collaboration.

He explained that Tinubu’s courage drives him to make necessary reforms, while his discipline fuels a culture of excellence.

The President’s strong will, he noted, ensures he stays committed to doing the right thing despite resistance.

Bwala added that Tinubu welcomes new ideas, forgives easily, empowers those entrusted with responsibilities, and works across political divides — traits he said mirror Lincoln’s approach to governance.

He maintained that these qualities set Tinubu apart from his opponents and that the President remains unfazed by any alleged plot to unseat him in 2027.
