Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, stole the spotlight at the wedding of singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi (Tosin Ajibade) and billionaire heiress Temi Otedola.
Speaking as Chairman of the occasion, his heartfelt and light-hearted speech drew laughter and admiration from guests.
Dangote described Iceland, the couple’s wedding destination, as a very special place and confessed it was his first visit to the Nordic country.
He praised Mr Eazi for his entrepreneurial spirit, revealing his surprise at the scale of his business ventures. For Temi, Dangote spoke fondly of her independence and her desire to build her own path.
The billionaire also offered marital advice to the newlyweds and jokingly promised to throw a very big party to celebrate the couple’s first child.
He went on to commend Temi’s father, Femi Otedola, for making the lavish wedding possible, describing it as the greatest wedding of the year and a truly historic celebration.
