Some women in Aba, Abia State, took to the streets on Friday to stage protest over the the Federal Government’s refusal to comply with a court ruling to release the proscribed leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
It was recalled that Court of Appeal, in Abuja, FCT had discharged Nnamdi Kanu in October and a federal high court in Umuahia, Abia state, ordered Federal govt to return Kanu to Kenya, thus, Federal government has yet to obey any of the court’s ruling.
In the course of the protest by the Aba women, one of the banners inscribed, ‘Buhari’s regime must obey court’s order.’
