Chief of Army Staff commissions solar-power computer laboratory at Kano School

The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General TA Lagbaja, on Saturday, 2nd of March 2024, commissioned the newly constructed furnished and equipped solar-power computer laboratory at Government Girls Secondary School Charanchi in the Bichi Local Government Area of Kano State.

The Chief of Army Staff was represented by the Chief of Civil-Military Affairs, Major General NC Ugbo.

This was conveyed in a post on its X handle on Sunday, 3rd of March, 2024.

According to the Army, the modern laboratory has 25 computer sets and an office with highspeed internet service.

The post reads:

“The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General TA Lagbaja commissioned newly constructed furnished and equipped solar-power computer laboratory at Government Girls Secondary School Charanchi in Bichi Local Government Area of Kano State on 2 March 2024. The project was facilitated and executed under the Chief of Army Staff Special Intervention Civil-Military Cooperation Project for Major General UB Abubakar. The Chief of Army Staff was ably represented by the Chief of Civil-Military Affairs Major General NC Ugbo.

“The modern laboratory is equipped 25 computer sets, an office with a rest room subscribed with highspeed internet service and solar-powered system. The executor of the project Major General UB Abubakar thanked the Chief of Army Staff for the support and urged the Principal of the school to ensure that the facility is well maintained. Other highlights of the event include handing over of the project keys to the Principal of the School, presentation of souvenir and group photographs among others.

“In attendance were the representatives of the General Officer Commanding 1 Division Nigerian Arm, Brigadier General MA Sadiq, former Kano State Secretary to State Government Rabiu Usman Bichi, the Chairman of Bichi Local Government Area, Community leaders and staff of the school among others.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
