Police in Canada are searching for Chukwuka Emmanuel Williams, 30, who is wanted for allegedly sc@mming 11 victims out of $275,000 through a romance sc@m.
Between June 2020 and September 2021, he reportedly posed as a military officer stationed overseas, tricking victims from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Quebec into sending him money with false promises of repayment.
Williams failed to appear in court on January 27 and is now wanted for 23 offences, including 10 counts of fra¥d over $5,000.
