Operatives of the Rapid d’intervention Battalions, BIR, Cameroonian Elite Military unit has reportedly withdrawn its gunboats from Abana waterfront.
This is coming days after a daredevil militant group, Black Marine, alleged to be armed wing of Nigeria separatist group BnL (Biafra Nations League) bombed a military helicopter in the region.
It was gathered that the militant group has since siezed control of the Abana waterfront.
Abana also known as Jabane is the headquarters of BIR.
Sources said that the government forces have not finally withdrawn but retreated to restrategize and return to dislodge the separatist militants. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
