An accident involving a bus and a car has occurred on the Third Mainland Bridge near the Adekunle inward-Island section, causing significant traffic disruptions.
According to a statement on the X handle of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), their officers are currently on the scene to manage the situation.
“Our men are on the ground there to facilitate the process, as well as manage traffic, especially to mitigate further traffic disruptions in the area,” they wrote on X.
Appropriate authorities have been contacted and are reportedly en route to the site for rescue and evacuation operations.
