A young teacher’s quest for romantic love ended tragically when the woman he was interested in rejected him.

Denis Mukono, a young Meruvian teacher, committed suicide because he felt rejected by a woman named Phides Wambui.

Before deciding to inflict harm on himself, Mukono disclosed in a suicide note that he had gone through a lot, and he added that all of his efforts had been in vain.

“Just decided to rest in peace. I have tried all means, but all has been in vain,” he wrote.

Mukono had posted an invitation to “his function” on his social media platforms prior to his untimely death.

In the written piece, he acknowledged the importance of having people with whom to chat and share one’s troubles during a depressive episode.

“Evening members, when you are stressed, you just need one friend to share with. Meanwhile I invite you to my function o. 14/2/2024. Welcome all,” he said.

The teacher alleged that he had sought help from many people, but none gave him a listening ear during his struggles.

“I may look stupid but I have shared my stress with 17 people none talked to me. I pleaded with Phides, but all has fallen on deaf ears. Love you all,” he stated. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
