Nigerian musical star, Burna Boy finished the 2024 Grammy awards ceremony empty handed after losing all the four categories.
The “King of Afrofusion,” Burna Boy, had previously taken home the Grammy for Best Global Music Album in 2021.
He was nominated four times this year: Best Melodic Rap Performance (21 Savage, “Sittin’ on Top of the World”)
Best African Music Performance (City Boys), Best Global Music Album (I Told them), and Best Global Music Performance (Alone)
Despite Burnaboy’s tragic loss in all four prize categories, he nevertheless gave a beautiful performance that evening.
