Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has celebrated the Emir of Ilorin, Mai Martaba Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on his 85th birthday.
According to a statement on Saraki’s X handle on Tuesday, 22nd of April 2025, for nearly three decades, the monarch has strengthened unity, safeguarded rich cultural heritage and championed peace and development across Kwara State and Nigeria by extension.
The statement reads:
“Today, I join the entire Ilorin Emirate and well-wishers around the world to celebrate His Royal Highness, Mai Martaba Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin, on his 85th birthday.
“Your Royal Highness, for nearly three decades on the throne you have strengthened our unity, safeguarded our rich cultural heritage, and championed peace and development across Kwara State and our nation.
