One of the widely known British singer Elton John has declared that he will no longer be using Twitter platform.
John faulted the twitter platform’s new “change in policy” around misinformation without elaborating.
The singer said, “All my life, I’ve tried to use music to bring people together. Yet it saddens me to see how misinformation is now being used to divide our world.
“I’ve decided to no longer use Twitter, given their recent change in policy, which will allow misinformation to flourish unchecked.”
The world richest and the new boss of twitter, Elon Musk while reacting noted that he loves the singer’s music and that he hopes the singer will come back to the platform.
Via his twitter handle, Musk wrote, “I love your music. Hope you come back. Is there any misinformation in particular that you’re concerned about?”
