The Nigerian Football Federation, NFF has reportedly banned Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen and declared its intention to use the Victor Osimhen case as a deterrent to prevent other players from publicly criticising or disparaging national football heroes and legends.
According to a member of the NFF board, Osimhen would be used as an example to prevent others from doing the same in future.
According to the source,
“He (Victor Osimhen) crossed the line with his outburst even when Finidi called him to explain he still didn’t deem it fit to retract his statements.
