BREAKING: House Of Reps Member, Onanuga Is D£ad

A member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Oriyomi Adewunmi Onanuga is dead.

It was gathered that the member who represented Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency died after a brief illness. Onanuga, who served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives was aged 60.

As of now, neither the National Assembly nor her family has released an official statement regarding the tragic news. Born on 2nd of December 1965, Onanuga was a notable politician and entrepreneur. She had held the position of Deputy Chief Whip in the Nigerian House of Representatives since 2023.

Her journey began in Hammersmith, London, where she was born to Nigerian parents. In 2019, she successfully contested for a seat in the House of Representatives under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
