13 Israelis, 10 Thais, One Filipino Freed By Hamas – Qatar
Hamas just let go of 13 Israeli hostages, and it’s the start of the deal between Israel and them. These people were kept in Gaza for 48 days.
The hostages, including 13 Israelis and 12 Thai citizens, were taken during an attack on Israel back on October 7. Today, they are free.
Hamas gave the hostages to the Red Cross, who are taking them to the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt.
At the same time, Israel is releasing 39 Palestinian prisoners (24 women and 15 teenagers) as part of the deal. The Red Cross is helping with this, giving medical care to the prisoners when they arrive from Gaza.
We didn’t know who the released people were before, it was kept secret. About 30 kids might be among the 240 people taken by Hamas to Gaza.
A four-day break from fighting started at 7 a.m. today. This is the first time in almost seven weeks that there are no gunshots in the area.
During this break, it’s expected that around 50 hostages will be set free. But there are still about 190 people held by Palestinian fighters. In return, 150 Palestinian prisoners will also be let go…[CONTINUE READING HERE]>>
