Popular Nigerian musician, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, better known by his stage name Bella Shmurda, has opened up about his dubious past.
In a recently released documentary called “Bella Shmurda: Tension in Ibadan 2024,” he disclosed that he had once stole a tricycle to finance his musical endeavors.
The artist claimed that in a desperate attempt to save face, he signed a bad record deal.
He claimed that having children has an impact on the music and visuals he produces.
“I should not have rushed. We will never get to see the future. So everybody is rushing. I went into some things that did not later pay off. I went to sign a deal with rush which later was funny.
“I stole keke because of money but Alhamdulilah, I am here today.
“Seeing my son inspires me. What’s on my head is, ‘Wettin this boy go see in the next 10 years?’ I don’t want him to see my old videos. I want him to see a new Bella,” he said. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
