Mike Edwards, a former Big Brother Naija reality star, has unexpectedly announced his entry into the professional boxing ring.
The news was made on Friday via his X account by the two-time Nigerian high jump champion.
He would be joining the Misfits Boxing Cruiserweight class.
His first fight, which has not yet been confirmed, would be against Jake Cornish.
Edwards wrote, “Breaking News: Excited to announce my entry into the world of professional boxing! Thrilled to join the Cruiserweight division roster on @MisfitsBoxing.
