Following the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University ile-Ife last week. Some traditionalist on Monday 21st of March, 2022 took to their traditional measures to protest against the appointment.
The traditionalists storm the campus to express their displeasure over the newly appointed Vc of the varsity, Prof. Bamire.
The protest which began last week immediately the appointment was announced, insisting that the appointment should be given to an indigene.
