As ASUU Strike reaches day 78, the vice Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, has written to students, lecturers and administrators of the varsity.
The statement reads;
“Dear students and colleagues, It is no news that ASUU, SSANU, NASU and NAAT in most Universities are on strike.
“While we continue to pray and hope that areas of conflicts and disagreements are resolved soon so that normalcy returns to our Institutions, I, however, urge lecturers, administrators and students to use the period to engage themselves in activities that add quality values to their lives, update their notes, and work towards breaking new grounds.
“I am optimistic that upon resumption from this strike, great news will be heard of and from you, please keep safe always.”
