Ask Her For Forgiveness – Netizens Blasts Pastor Enenche For Disgracing Testimony Giver

Pastor Paul Enenche questioned a woman’s academic performance during her testimony on Sunday, turning a joyful occasion at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja into a contentious one.

The lady, Anyim Vera, took the pulpit and shared her testimony of personal success, revealing that she had graduated from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) with a law degree, ending her family’s tradition of educational constraints.

In her moving speech, Ms. Vera talked about the obstacles and hardships she overcame en route to graduation, including financial setbacks and health issues, to become the first person in her family to graduate from university.

Her viral testimony video went, “I want to appreciate God for my life and my family, and I want to thank God for using mummy and daddy for our sake. It all happened when I was trying to attend the National Open University of Nigeria.

“Before I came to Dunamis, many things were happening in my life and my family; from my father’s side and my mother’s side, nobody was a graduate. They only ended up in primary or secondary school.”

“But when God remembered me, I got a job, and I was working, and I decided to further my education; I started school, and I wanted to do a law programme. I started in 2014, and I never lacked the money to pay my school fees; I kept going to the extent that I got to my 500 level and challenges everywhere: problems, sickness, they afflict me with leg pain, and I was not able to finish my mate had finished, the law programme is six years, but since I was unable to meet up, I keep on like that. But yesterday, I graduated.”

But when Pastor Enenche saw inconsistencies in her English and comprehension of her purported law degree, the testimony took an unexpected turn. When Ms. Vera mentioned that she had a BSc in law, he became suspicious, and the pastor started asking further questions.

Things rapidly got out of hand, and she was asked to leave the pulpit as the pastor, Mr. Enenche, raised doubts about the veracity of her statements and warned the audience not to believe anything she said.

“What kind of degree did you get?” he inquired. The woman firmly said, “MBBS is medicine,” citing her BSc in law. The pastor became enraged in answer, and he quickly threw her from the platform.

Taking over the pulpit, Mr. Enenche questioned the testimony further, stating, “I knew there was nothing like ‘law’ in what she was saying the moment she talked about a law degree.” Regardless of the severity, it hasn’t gotten to that point. Vera happily celebrated her graduation day in a post from April 13, the eve of the testimony, according to a look at her Facebook profile.

She thanked God for everything and encouraged her friends to share in her joy. Her assertions were supported by photos in a graduation gown that were included in the post.

The episode has generated a lot of discussion on the internet, with many speculating that rather than being intentional, Ms. Vera’s original false statement about her degree may have been the result of stage anxiety or pressure.
