25-year-old Aryna Sabalenka defeated 21-year-old Qinwen Zheng 6-3, 6-2 to earn her second Grand Slam championship in the Australian Open final.
The rookie opponent of Sabalenka was unable to handle the Belarusian’s unrelenting ball-striking in her maiden Grand Slam final because she was simply too strong.
The world No.2 won the Australian Open last year, but she has been even more irresistible this fortnight, picking up the title without dropping a single set.
