Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested a soldier, Lance Corporal, Mubarak Yakubu
for allegedly stealing ammunition in Maiduguri, Borno State.
It was gathered that the soldier was arrested by 7 Division Military Police K9 Team on routine search Operation at Borno express Terminal in Maiduguri on May 9, 2024.
Sources stated that the Soldier was unlawfully in possession of Quantity 756 Rnds of 7.62 mm Special ammunition and 4 x 36 Hand Grenade concealed inside a small Bag of rice.
At at the time of this report, the areestsled soldier is currently in custody of the military for further action. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
