Archbishop of BCS, Family and Three Other Clergymen, K!napped in Anambra

Gunmen have abducted Archbishop Uka Uka Osim, his wife Anne Osim and son Roland Uka Osim from “the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star” under forceful gunpoint condition.

On May 1, 2024 in Abia State, the family was abducted with three other clergymen.

On their evangelical mission to Awka in Anambra State, they were confronted by armed individuals.

Azuka Ochu, Moses Okafor and Anderson Akwazie have been identified as the three priests who were kidnapped with the Osim family.

Bishop Denis Onuoha, the administrator of the spiritual organization in Abia State known as BCS, confirmed their abduction.

Four days after the kidnapping, he stated that the kidnappers had not made any contact with anyone.

“We are very worried, but we are assured that the Almighty Father whom they worship and work for with total devotion will help them out,” he said.

He urged security agencies to intervene and save the clergymen. He also mentioned that they are fully engrossed in prayer, remaining hopeful for a safe rescue of the Archbishop and his fellow members.
