The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has ordered the arrest of Olakunle Alex Folarin, a dismissed employee, for impersonating the agency with its identification card after his sack.
Folarin, who previously served as a driver at the EFCC’s Ibadan Zonal Directorate, was earlier dismissed after investigations confirmed that he forged his academic credentials.
Despite his dismissal, the former staff was recently spotted on a matchmaking programme hosted by Nollywood actor Lege Miami, still parading himself as an EFCC official.
According to EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, Folarin unlawfully retained some of the commission’s property, including his official identity card, hence the directive for his immediate arrest.
