Professor Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, on Wednesday attended the 59th Ofala festival of the Igwe of Nnewi, Igwe Kenneth Onyeneke Orizu III, which also doubled as his 97th birthday.
Anambra governor who attended the ceremony on Wednesday shared photos from the moment via his instagram handle today, Thursday.
Sharing photos from the event, the former governor of the central bank of Nigeria said, “Yesterday, I was at the 59th Ofala and 97th birthday ceremony of one of the longest serving monarchs in Nigeria, and perhaps the world – Igwe Kenneth Onyeneke Orizu III, Igwe of Nnewi. Congratulations to Igwe Orizu III and Ndi Nnewi.”
