Almost All Women In Nollywood Have Divorced, Says Veteran Pete Edochie As He Raises Concern

Pete Edochie, a Veteran Nollywood actor, has spoken out about the divorce rate happening in the film industry.

The veteran actor made his comments in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, which was shared on Friday morning.

Edochie said that he was shocked when he learned his junior colleagues Chioma Chukwuka, Ireti Doyle, Tonto Dikeh and other had left their marriages due to different challenges they claimed.

The actor went on to say that many women are missing the core of marriage because it was always about commitment, regardless of the circumstances.

Speaking in the video, he said,

“If you come to our Industry today, most of our ladies who got married some two-three years ago have all left their husbands. I was shocked that Chioma Chukwuka had left her husband, Ireti Doyle, Tonto Dikeh.

“You take a vow when you are going to get married for better or worse, not for better or out. You will always think it’s greener on the other side, that is the mistake we all make”.

Pete Edochie, had stated that his talented son, Yul Edochie, a nollywood actor brought in a foreign woman into the family.

He said this during an interview with Chude on Wednesday, 2nd of August, 2023 when he was asked about his son’s martial saga and he said Yul brought all of these upon himself.

Pete Edochie said:

“If you go and pick up ant infested firewoods among the good ones in the farm, you shouldn’t be surprised when lizards starts paying you a visit.

“Yul brought in a foreign woman into the family and by so doing, he invited all the lows, backwardness, pains, insults and so on into his life.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
