Liverpool Football Club has confirmed the signing of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion on a permanent deal. The Argentine midfielder has inked a contract that will keep him at Anfield until June 2028.
Mac Allister expressed his delight at joining Liverpool, stating, “Since I won the World Cup, I said that I want to win more trophies and I think that this club will help me to do that.”
He further revealed his excitement at donning the prestigious number 10 jersey for his new team, saying, “It feels amazing. It’s a dream come true, it’s amazing to be here, and I can’t wait to get started.”
The 23-year-old midfielder had been eager to join Liverpool’s pre-season preparations from the beginning, and he expressed his satisfaction that the deal has been completed, stating, “I wanted to be in [from] the first day of pre-season, so it’s good that everything is done.”
