In a prestigious ceremony at the State House in Nairobi, President William Ruto of Kenya awarded Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), the country’s highest national honor, the Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart (CGH).
The Order of the Golden Heart is Kenya’s most esteemed award, which is typically reserved for exceptional leaders.
It is divided into three categories: Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart (CGH), Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart (EGH), and Moran of the Order of the Golden Heart (MGH).
