Again, Police Neutralize Deadly Bandit In Abuja, Foil Kidnapping Attempt (Photo)

Operatives from the Department of Federal Intelligence – Intelligence Response Team (DFI-IRT) carried out a daring operation on February 5, 2024, in which they decisively took action against a notorious bandit group that was operating in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) suburbs.

The police learned where the notorious Isa Dei-Dei-led criminal organization was hiding out based on reliable sources.

The operatives who were armed with vital information, proceeded quickly to the scene at around 10:15 AM, but as soon as they arrived, the robbers saw them approaching and made an attempt to escape the hideout. The operatives pursued the escaping crooks, which resulted in a heated gunfight.

The DFI-IRT operatives acted quickly and decisively to neutralize the bandit group’s leader, Isa Dei-Dei, during the fierce altercation. Some members of the criminal syndicate made it out of the encounter with injuries.

Following the operation, the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, released a statement asking the general public, especially medical professionals, to be on the lookout for and report anyone seeking medical attention for gunshot wounds. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
