After 11 years of waiting, woman gives birth months after allowing her husband marry a second wife

One woman, identified Jane Kirui, and her husband, Mwalimu Wesley Kiplagat, are celebrating the birth of their baby.

They welcomed the child after 11 years of childl£ssness.

According to reports, the couple endured years of agony before the arrival of their bundle of joy.

“We got married in 2012, and she later went to college. After coming back, we started looking for a baby, but she never got pregnant,” Kiplagat said. Despite the challenges, Kiplagat’s unwavering support for his wife remained steadfast.

“After some time, people started calling her barren, and she became a laughing stock in the area. My support for her never wavered; we are best friends,” Kiplgat told Tuko News in an interview.

Together, they embarked on a relentless quest to conceive, seeking assistance from various hospitals, including Tenwek Hospital in Bomet County. At Tenwek Hospital, Jane underwent an ultrasound and a series of tests, which, unfortunately, confirmed their worst fears – she was unable to conceive.
