Osun Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has advised youths in the state to resist being used as tools in communal clashes.
In a recent address, Adeleke advised young people to question those inciting violence, asking them to involve their own children if their intentions are genuine.
In a video on Saturday, March 22, the Governor emphasised the need for peace and unity, cautioning against individuals who exploit youths to escalate conflicts while protecting their own families.
He said:
“Tell those pushing you to participate in communal clashes to bring in their children first.
”it is very sad that some people have lost their lives due to this violence .
“Some people in one way or the other would always start trouble.”
Adeleke further urged traditional rulers, community leaders and stakeholders to work together in resolving disputes amicably to prevent further unrest. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
