Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has expressed confidence in his re-election prospects for 2026, stating that voters are able to distinguish between competent and poor governance.
Reflecting on his administration’s record, Adeleke pointed to the restoration of stability in the civil service through the clearance of salary arrears and consistent wage payments. He emphasized that the upcoming election should be judged on governance performance rather than political party loyalty.
The governor highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects, including bridge constructions, road developments, and the dualization of key routes in Osogbo, Ila, and other areas, describing them as major accomplishments for the state.
Adeleke also affirmed that his administration has continued projects initiated by previous governments, noting that none have been abandoned.
