Doctors in Abia State on Thursday, staged protest, barricaded the state Government House gate to demand their 25 months’ salary arrears.
The doctors expressed grievance over the negligence of the state government.
They carried placards with different inscriptions, including ‘Abia Doctors lives matter’, ‘Two years without salary ‘no be joke’, ‘No salaries for 24 months’, among others as they await the government’s response on their demand.
