A Female Student, Margie Elizabeth Takes Her Own Life On UEP Graduation Day

In a heartbreaking turn of events, the joyous atmosphere at the 62nd Graduation Exercises of the University of Eastern Philippines (UEP) was overshadowed by a devastating incident.

A student, identified as Margie Elizabeth, tragically ended her life on what should have been a day of celebration.

The incident occurred at her lodging house in RBVD Lodge, Brgy.J.P. Rizal Catarman, N. Samar, at approximately 2:30 PM.

The discovery of Margie’s lifeless body hanging in her room sent shockwaves through the UEP community and beyond. Authorities found an alleged death note inside the room, strongly indicating that it held clues to the cause of her untimely death.

The contents of the letter revealed Margie’s profound apology to her parents for not being able to graduate on time. It is believed that she may have been overwhelmed by the pressure and disappointment she felt regarding her academic progress.
