David Adeleke, Nigerian superstar popularly known as Davido has offered condolences to fellow artist, a colleague, Ayodeji Balogun also known as Wizkid, over his mum’s demise.
During his performance at the Afronation Fest in Detroit, United States of America, USA , Davido said,
“I wanna say a big condolences to my brother Ayo Balogun, Wizkid, to his mother. May her soul rest in peace”
Freshreporters media had on Friday revealed Wizkid’s mum, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, died at around 1.30 am.
This tragic news have brought entertainment industry and fans alike into a state of mourning.
Reports from a close associate of the Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, and performer Ayodeji Balogun, disclosed the sad incident .
Mrs. Balogun, was a pillar of support for her son’s flourishing career, often seen showing her support for him on from the sidelines at concerts and events.
Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, has not yet made a public statement regarding the loss of his mum.
Her presence at Wizkid’s performances was not just that of a mother, but also a symbol of unwavering support for her son’s musical journey.
