Dauda Lawal, the state Zamfara Governor has confirmed that some people are negotiating with bandits without his knowledge in the state.
He made the confirmation during interview with Channels TV “Sunrise Daily” on Tuesday, 11th of June, 2024, which was monitored by freshreporters media.
He said:
“Somebody somewhere, somehow behind our back is negotiating with the bandits. As a governor of the state without my knowledge.
“To some extent we know those negotiating with the bandits.
“I had to meet Mr. President and complain one on one, and explain the true situation of what we’re facing in terms of the security situation.
