Emmanuel Wamono, an identified student of the Makerere University in Kampala, the Capital city of Uganda, has drowned in a swimming pool while trying to save a child.
It was gathered today, Sunday, Emmanuel Wamono passed away at the swimming pool at Mountain Inn Hotel in Mbale of the city.
It was also gathered that Wamono was a third year electrical engineering student.
The news of Wamono’s death was made known in a statement released by the Makerere University Dean of Students, Winifred Kabumbuli, today, Sunday.
The hero will be buried on Monday at his village in Bunambutye village, Mbale District in Uganda.
