2Baba Issues Apology Amid Family and Marital Controversy

Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, has publicly apologized in light of the ongoing turmoil surrounding his marriage to Natasha Osawaru.

The controversy ignited when 2Baba’s former managers, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, accused Osawaru of trying to gain “full control” over 2Baba’s finances and career during a live stream with Daddy Freeze. The situation intensified when 2Baba joined the discussion, urging his ex-managers to refrain from revealing details about his personal life. A heated exchange between him and Natasha was captured off-camera before the stream ended abruptly.

Additionally, 2Baba’s family has lodged a complaint with the inspector-general of police, alleging Natasha of assault, bigamy, and financial impropriety. They claimed she had physically attacked him in the UK and Abuja and withheld personal documents, including his passport. However, 2Baba has dismissed these allegations, stating that his family’s attempts to “save” him are actually disrupting his life and damaging Natasha’s reputation. He further disclosed that his wife has received threats to her life.

At a recent public event, the 50-year-old singer addressed the issue, characterizing the situation as an unwanted spectacle that must come to an end. “I must admit that I have provided too much entertainment. Please do not be angry with me any longer. I ask for forgiveness for myself and my family,” he expressed.
