Malmo strike, 27-year-old Mohamed Buya Turay missed his wedding, sent his brother to represent him.
Turay has been signed for the Swedish outfit team after a spell playing in the Asian continent, Chinese Super League both Hebei China Fortune and Henan Songshan Longmen.
Malmo team made the transfer announced on the 22nd of July, 2022 after travelling to the city, but Turay wedding ceremony took place on the 21st of July, 2022 in Sierra Leone.
However, he revealed that he hasn’t actually been with his wife since the day they officially tied the knot and they are hoping to get together for an official honeymoon later this year.
“We got married on July 21 in Sierra Leone,” Turay told Afton Bladet. But I wasn’t there because Malmö asked me to come here earlier” he said
According to him “We took the pictures in advance. So it looks like I was there but I wasn’t. My brother had to represent me at the wedding itself”.
“But I will try to get her to Sweden and Malmö now so she can be close to me. She will live here with me.” He disclosed
