The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 120 individuals suspected of internet fra¥d in Lagos.
The operation, carried out by operatives of the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1, took place on Monday, May 19, 2025.
According to the EFCC, the arrests followed credible intelligence and detailed surveillance on the suspects, who include 95 men and 25 women. They were picked up from various locations across the state.
During the raid, operatives recovered 26 luxury cars, high-end jewelry, smartphones, laptops, and several incriminating documents linked to cybercrime activities.
The suspects are currently being investigated further and are expected to be charged to court once the process is complete. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
