Nigerian players have arrived in Uyo, the Capital city of Akwa Ibom state, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
The 22 Super Eagles players are at the camp in Uyo as they begin preparations ahead of their games.
This was noted in a video shared on the official X page of the Super Eagles on Tuesday, 14th of November, 2023.
Sixteen players arrived the team’s camp on Tuesday, increasing the number to 22.
Super Eagles will be facing Lesotho on Thursday in Uyo.
The team next match with the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Huye Stadium, Butare, will be on Sunday.
The 22 players are Kenneth Omeruo, Kelechi Iheanacho, Umar Sadiq, Sheyi Ojo, Jamilu Collins, Nathan Tella, Ola Aina, Chidozie Awaziem, Bright Osayi, Bruno Onyemaechi.
