The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has called on the Federal Government to withdraw the contentious tax bills currently before the National Assembly.
In his New Year message to Nigerians, particularly workers, NLC President Joe Ajaero emphasized that the withdrawal of the bills is essential to safeguard the welfare of Nigerian workers.
Ajaero also urged the government to prioritize transparency, inclusivity, and honesty in its engagement with the public, ensuring that its actions reflect the best interests of the masses.
Titled “In 2025, Hope is in Our Collective Resolve,”
the message read:
“As we step into the year 2025, the Nigeria Labour Congress extends warm New Year greetings to every worker and citizen across our great nation.
