The International Organisation for Migration has successfully brought back 108 stranded Nigerians from Niger Republic.
This was revealed in a post on the X handle of the National Emergency Management Agency on Tuesday, 24th of October, 2023 stating that the returnees, consisting of 29 adult females, 32 adult males, 44 children, and three infants were transported on a chartered flight with registration number TZ-SMA, which by Sky Mali, and arrived at the Cargo Wing of Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Ikeja.
The caption reads:
“The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) has successfully brought back 108 stranded Nigerians from Niger Republic. They were transported on a chartered flight with registration number TZ – SMA, provided by Sky Mali.
“This group of returnees consisted of 29 adult females, 32 adult males, 44 children, and 3 infants. They arrived at the Cargo Wing of Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Ikeja, at around 1850 hours.
“Several agencies, including NEMA, NAPTIP, Refugee Commission, FAAN, and the Police, were present at the airport to receive these returnees.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
