Qatar 2022: Excitement Trails As Davido Performs At World Cup

Fans and supporters have expressed excitement after the Nigerian music Star Popularly known as Davido performed at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup final in Qatar. Fans also expressed excitement for his return on Twitter platform.

Adeleke David performed the soundtrack of the World Cup, Hayya Hayya (Better Together) alongside other artistes at the closing ceremony which held at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar on Sunday in the match that featured Argentina and France.

However, reactions from netizens have trailed his performance via the twitter platforms.

A Popular Music producer, Samklef couldn’t hide his joy as he tweeted a video from the performance where he said, “OBO, our king is back.”

The Popular Nigerian DJ Neptune also joined with a welcome tweet, saying, “#davido, we are so happy to see and watch you perform ???”

Okon Nya also tweeted, “Davido representing Nigeria in the World Cup final. Proud moment for every naija person! Baddest!”

Edward Bernstein said als, “Davido nearly brought me to tears.”

This is the singer’s first show in weeks. His lover, Chioma was also present with him.
